Nigerian Dwarf & Mini Nubian Dairy Goats
In 2008 we purchased our first two Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats, Kaapio Acres Misty Blue and Yellow Rose Farm Miss Goldie. That began our adventure with dairy goats. We have since expanded our breeding program to include Mini Nubian dairy goats and have fallen in love with them. They are the total package: small size, lots of sweet, creamy milk, personality-plus and beautiful, too!
We breed for good conformation, breed character, disposition and dairy quality. Our Nigerian bloodlines include Kaapio Acres, Woodhaven Farms, and Brush Creek. We are developing a foundation herd of Mini Nubians with lines from Green Gables, Saada and Echo Hills.
Peachynga Goats are negative for CAE and Johne's disease. All goats are tested yearly by a Georgia licensed veterinarian for these diseases. We raise our goats utilizing herbal and non-drug methods whenever possible, but do vaccinate for CDT.

It's all about the MILK!!!
First freshener, Helmstead Minis Clementine. She is our first, 1st generation Mini Nubian and a wonderful milker. Clementine gave us 1 qt. of milk every morning and then nursed four babies....and they were all well-fed. She is a dream goat.
Goat's milk has nourished people for generations and is considered a health promoting food by many. Properly cared for goats produce delicious, sweet milk. The milk can be used to make cheese, yogurt, soap, or (our favorite) hot chocolate!

2012 News
We are licensed to sell dairy for pet consumption. Raw milk sales for human consumption is illegal in Georgia and we wish to comply with state laws. We currently have no plans to open a Grade A dairy or obtain licensure for sales of milk or other dairy products for human consumption.
All milk sold for pet consumption is produced using proper and sanitary milk handling procedures. Immediately after milking, milk is chilled quickly in an ice bath. Once cooled it is packaged in plastic food grade gallon jugs. Milking equipment is sanitized with dairy soap, misted with food grade hydrogen peroxide and air dried.
Contact us to purchase raw goat milk and a place will be reserved for you. As of this year, we will have eight does freshening and anticipate a very good supply of goat milk.
We are pleased to announce that Peachynga Goats will participate in DHIR milk testing program this year.

Raisin, our senior mini Nubian Doe, kidded with a beautiful set of twins, a buckling and doeling. They both have improved ear drop over Raisin, and very nice Nubian character. Pictured is the buckling at just a few hours old.
There is always a joy in experiencing the arrival of new babies. They bounce from place to place, enjoying life. Raisin is a dutiful mother and keeps a close eye on them, even though they scamper everywhere. She is a heavy milk producer and it's amazing to see the growth of her kids in a matter of days.
Visitors are always welcome. Give us a call or send a note and we'll look forward to seeing you and showing off our special breed of dairy goats!
